I have painted all my life but a 3 year diploma course in Graphics led to a
career in commercial design until 1988 when I was able to paint on a full-time
basis primarily using pastel.
My subject matter is nearby - the landscape of the New Forest, the coast and
inland waterways. Trees and water are a constant inspiration.
My work has been selected for:
Society of Botanical Artists
RA Summer Exhibition
Society of Women Artists
Royal Society of Marine Artists
Royal West of England Academy
New English Art Club.
I am a member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and the
Pastel Society (PS), showing work at the Mall Galleries each year.
