I have painted all my life but a 3 year diploma course in Graphics led to a career in commercial design until 1988 when I was able to paint on a full-time basis primarily using pastel.
My subject matter is nearby - the landscape of the New Forest, the coast and inland waterways. Trees and water are a constant inspiration.
My work has been selected for: Society of Botanical Artists RA Summer Exhibition Pastel Society Society of Women Artists Royal Society of Marine Artists Royal West of England Academy New English Art Club.
I am a member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and the Pastel Society (PS), showing work at the Mall Galleries each year.
